New AAPRN registrants: Important reminder about patient disclosure

Please familiarize yourself with HB 607 if you are a new AAPRN registrant.

You must disclose the following to your new patients and ensure you are following the new law.

Line 1163 (7) DISCLOSURES.—When engaging in the autonomous practice, an advanced practice registered nurse registered under this section must provide information in writing to a new patient about his or her qualifications and the nature of autonomous practice before or during the initial patient encounter.
