The Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County is a local association of current and retired APRN's, and APRN students.  PA's are welcome to join, for networking/educational benefits, but will not be able to vote, run for office or obtain CME's at our conference due to our different licenses and requirements. The council was established in 1994, by Andi Devine, APRN.

Throughout each year, we host networking socials, a holiday party, an annual conference for CMEs, and monthly to bimonthly educational/networking dinners.

We offer scholarships to students, grants to NP start up companies, and incentives for preceptors.

We like to focus on local charities, state and national groups that support NP's and also help when tragedies occur throughout our state.

On our website we advertise jobs for current APRN's and preceptors for students, we also give legislative and NP related updates when available.

Our goal is to empower one another to be the best NP's we can be and continue to push for independence within our career.

We always welcome new ideas from our members to better our council.

We are actively involved with FNPN to help NP's across the state of Florida have more access to education, promote professionalism, and encourage more political involvement to strengthen our profession.

Out of the strong came forth the Nurse Practitioner-one name, one legend!
