Menopause: A Patient's Journey

If you register and do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start time for the event,  you will not be permitted to attend the next set of NPCPBC programs through March 2025.  This helps to ensure we provide the opportunity for other members to attend our events.

Objectives of Presentation:

• Understand how to characterize the different stages of reproductive aging and how to confirm menopause 
• Review the HPO axis and introduce recent advances related to the cause of menopausal vasomotor symptoms
• Present a patient counseling approach on how to discuss VMS with patients using a clinical case scenario 
• Review principles of Patient Centered Counseling using the SHARE model (Seek, Help, Assess, Reach, Evaluate)
